What data we process

This website has no forms and does not collect personal data by itself. We process the data you give us when you call us, write to us on WhatsApp or send us an email: your name, your contact details and the information about your matter. If your enquiry requires it, this information may include health data, data on criminal offences or other specially protected data.

What we use your data for

To answer your enquiry, give you an appointment and, if you ask us to take on your matter, provide the service, invoice it and comply with the legal obligations this involves.

Legal basis

• Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing the professional engagement (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
• Compliance with legal obligations, such as tax obligations or those relating to the prevention of money laundering (Article 6(1)(c)).
• Specially protected data is processed because it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (Article 9(2)(f)).
• Technical data logged by the server is processed on the basis of the legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep your data

If you do not go on to ask us to take on your matter, for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. If you do, for as long as the professional relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods during which liability may be claimed and those set by tax and anti-money laundering laws.

Who we share your data with

Only with those who need it to handle your matter, or where the law requires it: courts and tribunals, public authorities, court representatives (procuradores), experts or the opposing party. All the information you give us is protected by professional secrecy.

Website hosting is provided by a company established in Spain, which acts as a data processor. If you write to us on WhatsApp, that service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited under its own terms, and it may involve transfers of data outside the European Economic Area.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing, by writing to africa.monsalve@icace.org. If you consider that we have not dealt with your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Cookies

This website does not use cookies, analytics tools or third-party services. Fonts are served from the website’s own server. The server may log technical data from each visit, such as the IP address, for security reasons.
